Moses Gonzales Biography

Moses passion for music started at a young age; growing up with older siblings already active in playing stringed instruments Moses naturally took an interest in them himself. At age 5 he started taking lessons and playing cello. This drove him into loving  melody driven musical taste. It wasn’t until his early teen years that he first started hearing electronic music. Instantly, Moses was hooked. This grew into a passion for composing and wanting to become a  dj. It wasn’t until after he started working for the sole intention of purchasing gear. He picked up some belt drive turntables and began teaching myself how to mix and beat match.

Moses started mixing regularly moving back and forth from vinyl to cds and learning the ins and outs. He was invited to play a headline gig at a relatively young age and with cdjs none the less. Doing this caused a backlash in the local scene and he received heavy criticism for it. This further drove him to make sure his sets were always harmonically driven and drove his track selection to be only the best.

Today his mixes are derived from 15+ years of always wanting to drive that perfect journey through music.

Mixing multiple genres to create a sound and feeling of emotion that propels you to forget what is around you and feel it. His mixes always come from a feeling, that feeling will always drive what tracks he chooses to play next. Never walking into a mix preplanned & instead always letting a mix and emotion drive the selection.

Genres: Nu-Disco, Funk, Deep Techno, Deep House, Progressive House, Progressive Trance, Uplifting Trance

Drawing from all these genres and years of collecting tracks has provided him a perfect library to achieve musical & emotional gratification
