Host for Deep Vibe show Underground Sound Canada,Deep and Tech House Dj from Regina Saskatchewan Canada.

Canadian DJ, Gavin Crawford, has been no stranger to the underground music scene. As of late Gavin has been a featured DJ at events such as Connect Festival, The Beat Gallery, MEME and Underground Sound Canada.

Gavin Crawford had his first taste of House Music in the late 90’s while visiting Scotland. At that time he was in his early 20’s and he instantly loved the club culture and the underground music sounds.

When he came back to Canada, he searched out for a similar scene and found underground music in his hometown of Regina, Canada. He began DJing and collaborating, and quickly made a name for himself.

Gavin took a break from the Dj’ing in the mid 2000’s, but never lost his love for the music. When he returned to the scene a few years later he emerged with an increased passion and a newfound taste in music. His taste in music today has a lot of feel to it, sticking mostly to Deep House with a splash of Deep Tech, Dub, Atmospheric, Progressive & Minimal tech.

Today, he hosts a monthly podcast for Underground Sound Canada titled Deep Vibe, that features mixes from himself and guests from across Canada and around the world. Some of his guests have included the likes of ~ BiG Al, Jelly For The Babies, Jon Delerious, Matt Caine, Jero Nougues, Shael, Kinder, Kirk Bodnar, US Marshall, Alvaro Hylander, Igor Gonya, Delve Deeper Recordings & The Purr Label . Gavin has also recently provided guest mixes for well respected house podcasts such as Deep Essence with Jero Nougues, BiG Al’s show Ready Mix Session for Proton Radio, Time 2 House on Ibiza Live Radio & Mark Macs The Sounds Collective Deep House, House And Chillout on DHR Radio. Gavin has many more exciting guest mixes he is working on that are coming out very soon…… so stay tuned!
